Dr Slava Poel

Dr Slava Poel is an ANZCA qualified anaesthetist and specialist pain medicine physician. Dr Poel’s extensive experience within his field includes work with patients suffering from chronic pain, spinal pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). As a serving member on multiple hospital medical advisory committees, Dr Poel actively contributes to the Victorian medical community, and has also published research on chronic lower back pain, among other areas.

Along with his ongoing clinical work, Dr Poel is experienced in medico-legal matters, having provided opinions for numerous types of cases, including workers’ compensation, personal injury, and medical negligence claims. Dr Poel’s extensive experience in the pain management field has developed his aptitude for providing objective and evidence-based assessments and opinions.
